Belle

The schooner Belle was built by W.Allsup at Preston in 1871. In 1904 she was bought by J.Thomas from Walton & Co., and was then managed by the Barrow shipping company of James Fisher & Son,  until her loss seven years later. The Belle was posted "Missing" on the 11th November 1911, having left the port of  Llanelli.

Another schooner built by Allsup, the iron British Queen, was also part of the Fisher fleet.
