The schooner Morris's was built by Morris at Pelaw, County Durham, in 1861. She was owned by James Fisher & Son at Barrow from 1862 to 1893, when she was sold to A.McClurg of Killyleagh, Ireland. Her master in 1873 was Capt.Gracie, and in 1877 Capt. James Brockbank.

The Morris's went missing after leaving Harrington on the 22nd December 1894. She was bound for Killyleagh, Co.Down, with a coal cargo. She was assumed to have foundered during the severe storm that raged that evening. Three crew were lost with her.
