The Arrow was a schooner built by Petty & Co., launched into the Ulverston Canal on Wednesday, 6th February 1828. She was owned and commanded by Captain John Pritchard, and seems to have sailed between various British ports and Messina in her early years.

The Arrow, Capt.Pritchard, bound from Hamburg for Waterford, was lost on the Vogel Sand on the 4th June 1831, the crew being saved.
