Ellen

The Ellen was a sloop built at the Petty & Postlethwaite shipyard at Ulverston in July 1842. She was registered at Lancaster by her builders. From Jan. 1845 to April 1846 her master was Capt. Henry Anyon, and the sloop sailed exclusively between Ulverston and the Mersey (primarily Runcorn).
