The Amelia was a smack built at Ramsey, Isle of Man in 1835.

In 1870 the Amelia was registered at Castletown and was owned by Mr.W.B.Jefferson. She was wrecked at Scarlett, Castletown Bay, in a gale on the 12th October 1870. She was bound from Ramsey in ballast with a crew of two men, both of whom were saved after a line was thrown to the vessel by Thomas Boyd, of the Castletown Brigade.
