The Anne was a lugger built by J.Teare at Peel, Isle of Man, in 1875. She was owned by her builder when she was wrecked on the Port Erin breakwater on the 13th October 1884. She had been sailing from Lerwick to Peel in ballast, under the command of Capt. J.Gorry and with six others aboard.
