The Cherub was a wooden smack built in 1837 at Port St.Mary in the Isle of Man.

The Cherub caught fire and sank off the Calf of Man on the 14th March 1851, shortly after leaving Port.St.Mary bound for Newcastle with a cargo of limestone. Reportedly eight people were rescued before she went down.
