The Annie Fletcher was an iron barque built by the Lune Shipbuilding Company at Lancaster. She was launched under the name Gressingham on Saturday, 7th March 1868, and then fitted out at Lancaster's New Quay before going to Liverpool for loading. She must have been given the name Gressingham pro-tem, and was re-named Annie Fletcher when bought by Fletcher & Parr, Liverpool shipowners.

The Annie Fletcher sailed from Liverpool on the 19th June 1868, bound for Bombay under the command of Capt.Tinmouth. She departed from Tillicherry on the 15th February 1869, bound for London, and was reported under tow at Deal on the 24th July. Her second voyage was from London for Rangoon.

The Annie Fletcher remained registered at Liverpool until the end of the century, when she was sold to owners at Trieste.
