Mary Jane

The Mary Jane was a two-masted flat built at Lancaster in 1857. She was managed by the Barrow firm of James Fisher & Son between 1870 and her loss. Carrying a coal cargo, she sank at the entrance to the Albert Dock, Liverpool, after springing a leak on the night of the 15th October, 1881.
