REAPPEARANCE OF WRECKS

The wreck of the Delight is again visible to the south-west of Chapel Island, and near it an old brig, which is supposed to be the Reliance, a letter-of-mark belonging to Lancaster, and which was wrecked about the year 1801. This old brig is in an excellent state of preservation, its deck staunchions, rudder, night-heads, ring-bolts on the deck, and dead-eyes, all being pretty much as they were some 60 years ago, when the ship went down.
