The Hebron was a brigantine built in 1846. She was registered at Liverpool in 1857, and at Maryport in 1865 (see Source 1). In 1865 she was owned by Dan Glaister, ship carpenter, of Maryport, and her master was Capt.R.Carke.

From "The Times" newspaper, Friday, 18th January, 1867, page 5 :

KIRKMICHAEL, ISLE OF MAN, JAN.14 - The Hebron, of and from Maryport for Dublin, with coals, sprung a leak on Jan.11, and was run ashore on Jan.12, betwen Ballaugh and this place, with more than six feet of water in her hold. The vessel is breaking up and will become a complete wreck : part of cargo, rigging, &c., saved.
