Henry Palmer

The Henry Palmer was registered at Maryport from the 1860's. She had formerly been called Jeanie or Jeanne, American-built and foreign-owned, and had been a whaler in her earlier career. Her owner at Maryport, until her loss in 1880, was Henry Palmer. She was described as a barque.

The Henry Palmer was listed as "Missing" in 1881, having sailed, under the command of Capt.Summers, from Quebec on the 5th November 1880,  bound for Swansea with a wood cargo.
