The Bull Dog was a snow or brig built at Maryport in 1813.
The Times, 19th December 1821 page 1 (advertisement);
" For Vera Cruz, from Liverpool, the fine fast sailing coppered brig Bull Dog,
A1 - Graham, Master, burden 209 tons, to sail, 10th Jan., 1822. For freight
apply to Messrs.Sands, Hodgson, and Co., Liverpool."
The Bull Dog had disappeared from the shipping registers by 1825.
