Eliza | Official Number

The Eliza was a snow built by Isaac Middleton at Maryport,
and launched on the 21st December 1835. She was registered at
Whitehaven initially, then at Lancaster from 1839.
The Eliza was wrecked at Port Dinllaen, Lleyn Peninsula, on
the 26th October 1859, with the loss of all five crew. This was during
the same storm as the famous wreck of the Australian emigrant ship Royal Charter, off Anglesey.

- Wreck reported by the North Wales Chronicle, Saturday, 29th October 1859, where the vessel was described as the Eliza, of Preston, and the wreck location was named as Porth Ferin.
