General Bolivar

The General Bolivar was a schooner built at Maryport by Kelsick Wood & Sons, launched on Wednesday, 20th April 1825. She was owned by Andrew McClure, of Kirkcudbright, and Robert MacKie, of Preston, and was registered at Kirkcudbright in August 1825. Her masters are listed (source 2) as Capt.William McClauchlin, Francis Stitt and Peter Morison (from December 1827).

The General Bolivar was lost off the Isle of Man on the 15th October 1829 (see Source 2).
