General Bolivar

The General Bolivar was a schooner built at Maryport by Kelsick Wood & Sons, launched on Wednesday, 20th April 1825. She was owned by Andrew McClure, of Kirkcudbright, and Robert MacKie, of Preston, and was registered at Kirkcudbright in August 1825. Her masters were listed as Capt.William McClauchlin, Francis Stitt and Peter Morison (from December 1827).

The registration of the General Bolivar at Kirkudbright was closed in 1829, it being noted that the schooner had been "lost off the Isle of Man on the 15th October 1829".
