Bertie

Official Number 44229

The Bertie was a barque built by Lumley Kennedy at Whitehaven in June 1863. She was built to a very high standard, 14 years A1 Special Survey.

4. Lloyd's Register of Shipping 1889-90: Bertie, wooden barque, 497 grt, 473 nrt, 144.6 x 27.8 x 18.3, built by Kennedy at Whitehaven in June 1863,  owned by D.Daniel, registered at Aberystwyth, classed A1 14 years, Special Survey, master Capt.D.Daniel.
