The Carrier was a brig built by Daniel Brocklebank at Whitehaven in 1795. She was sold by Brocklebank after two years, and in this time made a voyage to Danzig under the command of Capt.Folder.

The Carrier was owned by Hayton & Co. in 1830 when she was lost. Bound from Dublin under the command of Capt.Moore she was wrecked a little to the N of Ravenglass harbour on the 25th February 1830. All seven crew survived, making the shore when the tide ebbed.
