Charles Hamerton

The Charles Hamerton was a brig built at Liverpool in 1833. She was bought by Capt.Cowman of Whitehaven in 1846. A Whitehaven newspaper reported that the abandoned hull of the Charles Hamerton, of Whitehaven, timber laden, was towed into Teneriffe by a Spanish barque on the 27th April 1854.
