The Clementson was a brig built at Whitehaven by William Bowes & Son and launched on the 17th January 1804. She seems to have been owned by Capt.J.Peele throughout her life.

The Clementson, Capt.Peele, was bound from Pictou for the Clyde with a timber cargo when she was lost on the island of Colonsay on the 28th or 29th December, 1812. The crew were saved.
