Tolson

The Tolson was a brig built at Whitehaven by William Wilson in June 1815. She was registered at Workington in 1828 and was still listed as a Workington vessel when she was lost in 1830.

On the 24th February 1830 the Tolson was wrecked at St.Bees Head, near Whitehaven. She had been bound from Dublin for Workington with a timber cargo, under the command of Capt.Robinson. All the crew survived.
