The William was a brig built in 1797. She was owned by Capt.J.Boadle
in 1811 and at the time of her loss in 1821.
Lloyd's List, Friday, 7th December 1821, page 2;
"Whitehaven, 3rd Dec. .... the William, Boadle, from Waterford, bound here, was totally wrecked on Duddon Sands on Saturday. Crew saved."

Triton is stranded near Ravenglass: crew and passengers saved.
The brig William, of this port, from Waterford, is gone to pieces
to the southward; crew saved."
