The Nancy was a brig or brigantine, built at Harrington in 1786.

The Cumberland Pacquet, Wednesday, 5th April 1786;

"On Saturday last a fine new vessel called the Nancy was launched at Harrington from the building yard of Messrs.Askew, Ellwood & Co. She had her lowest mast in and made a beautiful launch."

The vessel was registered at Harrington in November 1786. In 1808 her master and part-owner was Capt.John Eilbeck.

The Nancy "foundered and all on board perished about 24th December 1817". The registry was finally closed in 1822 when Isaac Eilbeck, the master's father, testified that the Nancy had sailed with a malt cargo from Waterford to Dublin on the 24th December 1817, and that she had not since been heard of.
