The Sarah was a brig of 134 tons, built at Workington by Michael Falcon in 1795. She was wrecked on the 19th February 1833 at Douglas, Isle of Man, with the loss of eight crew. The master and one seaman, named George Jeffrey, survived. The brig was carrying coal from Whitehaven to Dublin, and was driven onto the rocks by a severe storm.
