Maid of Irvine

The small two-masted schooner Maid of Irvine was built by Murchie at Saltcoats in August 1861. She was owned in Barrow-in-Furness by James Fisher from 1872 until February 1880, when she was sold to Paul Rodgers, a shipbuilder at Carrickfergus. In November 1877 the Barrow Times gave her master's name as Capt. George.

The Maid of Irvine was hulked in December 1902.
